The College Sports Commission (CSC) has reported that between July 1 and August 31, 2026, they have reviewed and cleared 12,283 NIL deals worth $227.25M. It was also noted that 484 deals were not cleared, which were valued at $67.08M.
Since the initiation of NIL Go in June 2025, CSC has cleared a total of 46,478 deals with a reported value of $582.49M. Also in this span, they rejected 2,296 deals worth $156.93M.
The CSC in their report also broke the deals down into two further categories: deals that were associated and non-associated. According to the CSC glossary, associated status occurs when there is a relationship between an entity or individual and an institution. There were fewer cleared deals involving an associated party than non-associated, 22,035 to 24,443, but the total value was far greater at $379.33M to $203.16M for non-associated deals.
